My name is Liz and I am a very good friend of Emma's and had met Delphene on a number of occasions when Emma and I were students and afterwards.  About 6 years ago I had was at Covent Garden to watch a mixed programme ballet with my mother-in-law Janice to celebrate her birthday. Very delightfully who should we bump into during the interval but Delphine and a friend!  There she was looking so beautiful and glamorous and buzzing with the excitement at the dancing we had seen and what we were about to see; Carlos Acosta in Requiem - very thrilling.  She was so delighted to see me and meet Janice and all four of us had a lovely chat.  It was such a memorable moment.  Afterwards Janice commented what a lovely lady Delphene was.  Which she really and truly was - so warm and kind.
